Product Description

Accofloc flocculant aid is a high purity sodium montmorillonite which is selectively mined for use as a flocculant aid for freshwater dredging operations, process water and groundwater treatment. It is supplied as a free flowing powder and swells several times its own volume when wetted. Best performance is achieved when used in combination with a low, medium, or high molecular weight cationic or nonionic flocculant.  Accofloc is specially formulated for use in the following applications:

• Flocculant Aid to improve overall performance and throughput in Clarifiers, DAFs and other sludge concentration
  steps in water treatment applications
• Can be applied prior to filter presses, geo-bags, etc, to improve dewatering and solids concentration
• Natural anionic charge allows Accofloc to act as an effective coagulant/scavenger for Fe and other multivalent cations
